New artist to Jan Manton Art: Chinese born Chonggang DU lives and works in Melbourne. His upcoming show 'Paper in East and West' will open 28 April. "Fragments of newspaper from the West and East are randomly put together, forming sets of images to shows the shape of the current popular culture. In this era and society of global consumerism where money becomes the goal of wealth, media can clearly display the proportion of material and spirit in the life of every people".
