2008 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art, Art Gallery of South Australia, 1 March – 4 May 2008. Curated by renowned Sydney-based curator, Felicity Fenner, Handle with Care presents diverse responses to contemporary issues in what is the flagship visual arts event of the 2008 Adelaide Festival of Arts. Fenner has selected prominent Australian-born and immigrant artists and DADANG CHRISTANTO, JANET LAURENCE and ALFREDO & ISABEL AQUILIZAN have new works in the exhibition, responding to notions of fragility and vulnerability, nature and the environment, and the erosion of cultural traditions.
